SC's Marshall Reading App includes a range of topics important to adults, including work, money, parenting, health, and more. Using the mobile app, students can explore stories of interest by topic and be certain they are at the appropriate level. Check this placement chart to help guide students to the appropriate level.
These lessons have been approved for SC Distance Education proxy hours documentation (see the Distance Education Guidelines). The number of proxy hours is 2.5 hours for each lesson.
Each quiz collects an email address; the quiz results are sent to this email and can be used for documentation.

Note: All of the lessons use Quizlet. You'll want to advise your students to go ahead and create a Quizlet account when prompted. It is free, and typically keeps them logged in.
Beyond learning about new topics of interest, each story within the library provides opportunity to practice vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. As students explore topics, read the stories, and build skills, they can make notes and keep track of stories they've completed.
