Joey's meet during school terms
Mondays @ the Tamworth Hillvue Scout Hall from 5pm-6pm
The Joey Scout Program challenges youth to discover all kinds of new adventures.
Joey Scouts focuses on fun and friendship and is a gentle introduction to a world of challenges and adventures through Scouting.
Joey Scouts are encouraged to express themselves creatively, through games, stories and craft activities. They learn how to socialise with other children and help other people. They also develop an understanding of their impact on the environment.
In Joeys, young people learn about:
Socialising with other children
Basic bushcraft
Reacting to emergencies
Taking responsibility
Basic adventure-based activities
