The Library Support Squad mentoring program will run from August-July each year.
Applications will open every summer in line with the TAMUS Virtual Library Conference. We will open mentor applications first in order to determine how many mentees we can accept each cycle.
Mentor Applications are due by August 1, 2025.
Mentee Applications are due by August 22, 2025.
Program participants will be notified via email by September 9, 2025.
Planning Committee members will host a zoom training session for program participants in (September)
Each month during the program, the planning committee members will provide discussion topics to help support open discussion.
In order to grow this program, we will seek feedback at multiple points in the program cycle. All participants are welcome to share feedback with us directly via conference emails as well at any point in time. We will also seek feedback from mentees to evaluate their personal growth.
