WELL ...
Established in June 2019, MAGIC at Texas A&M University is a mentoring program created by and for graduate students in Physics and Astronomy at Texas A&M. We match graduate student mentors to incoming graduate students in order to create an inclusive, supportive community to help students thrive throughout graduate school.
This program is the brainchild of Jonathan Cohn & Taylor Hutchison, after witnessing an incredibly successful example of a similar one at the University of California at Irvine (UCI). Thanks to Arianna Brown and Katy Rodriguez Wimberly, who started PACE at UCI, for providing us with invaluable insight and advice on starting this program.
The current Program Organizers (POs) for TAMU MAGIC are Vinny Donofrio and Franklin Wang. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to contact us!

We've modeled our program after some awesome examples and from the needs of our current graduate students. To learn more about how the TAMU MAGIC program works, click the Program Structure button below!
