MENTORING AND ADVISING GRADUATES IN AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY

ANYONE IS CAPABLE OF SUCCEEDING IN GRADUATE SCHOOL.

Established in June 2019, MAGIC at Texas A&M University is a mentoring program created by and for graduate students in Physics and Astronomy at Texas A&M. We match graduate student mentors to incoming graduate students in order to create an inclusive, supportive community to help students thrive throughout graduate school.

This program is the brainchild of Jonathan Cohn & Taylor Hutchison, after witnessing an incredibly successful example of a similar one at the University of California at Irvine (UCI). Thanks to Arianna Brown and Katy Rodriguez Wimberly, who started PACE at UCI, for providing us with invaluable insight and advice on starting this program.

CURRENT MAGIC LEADERS

The current Program Organizers (POs) for TAMU MAGIC are Kaila Ronayne and Nikko Cleri. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to contact us!
