AgTech Students Explore Crop Innovation
Students toured local farms during the San Patricio County Crop Tour, gaining hands-on knowledge about crop production and sustainable agriculture practices. Funded by the USDA, the program offers financial support, education, and research opportunities in agricultural innovation.
Exploring Advanced GIS in Agriculture through Virtual Seminar
Our recent online seminar brought together students and AgTech experts to delve into the practical applications of advanced GIS in agriculture. The interactive session featured case studies and discussions that highlighted how GIS technologies can enhance farming decisions and efficiency. This seminar is part of the AgTech REEU program, dedicated to providing students with hands-on learning opportunities in the field of smart farming.
