Background: Stephen Kim from Corpus Christi is attending Texas A&M College Station, studying Civil Engineering. His current focus is on water resources and how we can better conserve the freshwater that is being depleted from the Earth today.
Internship goals: He is curious about how water is used to water the crops and how it can be more efficient to conserve the usage of water. He is excited to learn about the different technologies that could be used to detect the water stress of plants and how they can be more efficient. Collaboration with his teammates is something he looks forward to as he's keen on learning from their respective fields.
Career Inspirations: Stephen aspires to follow his passion for water conservation and work on how to more effectively utilize floodwater or better conserve groundwater. He envisions a career where he can help reduce the rapidly depleting source of water through the means of technology.
Interests: Stephen is passionate about how the world can better utilize its resources and making an impact on the world. Outside of these academic goals, Stephen loves to watch/play soccer, work out, run, and hang out with friends.
