Team 1, consisting of Jacob, Ra, Rynn, Sergio, and Stephen, made progress on multiple technical fronts this week. Jacob uploaded data from the Maduino to Thingspeak using HTTP, printed a prototype housing in PLA, and updated the REEU website. Rynn worked on the story map and user manual. Sergio finalized the software plumbing for the Maduino, while Stephen completed most of the dashboard, integrating soil moisture data and redesigning tabs for better functionality. Challenges included SSL/TLS setup for the Maduino, issues printing with PETG, debugging legacy code for the dashboard, and LoRa module malfunctions.

Team 2, composed of Jenna, Julian, Mohriz, Safiya, and Sergio V., focused their efforts on preparing for data analysis and finalizing key sections of their research. They worked on running statistical tests, making figures, and discussing research limitations. They struggled to recalculate some indices to achieve more accurate and realistic outcomes and to manage technical issues within the model.
