What Does the Scholarship cover?

The amount of the Terry Transfer Scholarship is 65% of the Scholar’s official cost of attendance (COA) for the current academic school year, with a minimum guaranteed annual stipend of $13,000 for the academic year, funded evenly between the two semesters. This funding will last until graduation for a maximum of 6 semesters (unless you have received permission for special funding).

Do I have to live on campus?

While Traditional scholars must live in Hobby Hall their freshman year, you do not. You may choose any housing that best suits your preference.

What are the requirements to retain the scholarship?

To maintain your scholarship you must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher on average, with each semester having at least a 2.0 while maintaining full time enrollment (12 or more hours per semester). Should you be unable to meet these requirements, you will have a probational semester. Funding WILL NOT be withheld but your standing must be rectified by the end of the probational period. You must also write an annual, self-evaluation letter at the end of the academic year. In addition, you must attend mandatory events like Fall Banquet and Spring Picnic.

Is it required I fill out the FASFA every year?

No, although it is highly recommended.
