-        Developed semi-analytical modelling framework to predict the effect of meniscus on local permeability for arrays of cylindrical pillars arranged to enhance heat transfer.

-        CFD simulations to predict the water flow velocity for different arrangements of pillar arrays.

Improving energy efficiency in cotton conveying and drying

-        Implemented multiphase CFD model for predicting moisture removal from cotton.

Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) experiments and CFD simulations to study the effect of shrouds for suppression of thermal stratification.

-        Design, development, and completion of PIV experiments for different operating conditions

-        CFD simulation of PIV experiments using OpenFOAM and ANSYS

-        Evaluated thermal stratification of pool with and without shrouds configuration.

-        Proposed installation of shrouds for efficient/effective suppression of thermal stratification

RELAP model development to study the influence of shrouds on thermal stratification.

-        Developed RELAP model for pool with and without shrouds.

-        Evaluated the role of shrouds conductivity variation on fluid heat transfer.

-        Found characteristic flow oscillations in the pool of water in presence of shrouds.

Analysis of full-scale Main Heat Transport System (MHTS) of Integral Test Loop (ITL) for Advanced Heavy Water Reactor (AHWR)

-        Performed ITL experimental data analysis.

-        Developed RELAP model to simulate the MHTS of ITL with heat exchanger.

Found conventional characteristic behaviour of thermal stratification in pool of water.
