I completed B.Tech. on Biotechnology from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, in 2018. I was the University first rank holder and gold medalist. I completed M.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata on 2020. I have joined Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) Summer 2020 as Ph.D. student under the guidance of Dr. Santosh K. Misra in BioMeDHs Lab.

I have worked on cell culture and cytotoxicity studies, antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of plant extracts. I have performed 'green synthesis' of silver nanoparticles and synthesis of hydrogels for drug delivery systems. I have also performed molecular docking and in silico assays.

Presently I am working on developing a paper based biosensor for the early diagnosis of atherosclerosis under the guidance of Dr. Santosh K. Misra.
