Materials used: Modroc, sand, embroidery, graphite drawing padded and stitched on. Food colouring used for the colours.

The top left is inspired by the most vintage image I could find of a nun. The bottom left is a tarot card I designed to show a good/bad side. Above is a drawing inspired by a vintage image of nuns taking a break.
This is a conceptual piece I made to highlight the plight of the USA/Mexican border wall and immigration injustices.
It’s covered in a collage of related themes, news cuttings and imagery. The crown is made from old blinds cut up, and designed with images from the real border wall. I used a mannequin head and covered in clay.
