PhD Candidate at Swiss Finance Institute

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics with specialisation in Finance at the Swiss Finance Institute and at the Geneva Finance Research Institute - University of Geneva.

My research interests are: macroeconomics, international finance, banking and political economy.

Based in Geneva, from Bologna (aka LasagnaVille), lived in Spain, the UK, and the US.

I am currently working as graduate teaching assistant and I am reviewing the forthcoming 3rd edition of "Microeconomics of Banking" by J.C. Rochet and X. Freixas. On top of that, I write Op-Eds on Econopoly - Il Sole 24 Ore about economics and politics.

I obtained my bachelor's (2014) and my master's (2016) degree from University of Bologna and, during my master, I visited University of California - Berkeley (Economics) (2016).

Before graduating, I worked at the Italian Industrial Confederation as market analyst and as tutor and teaching assistant at University of Bologna. After my master, I worked as liquidity and interest rate risk analyst at Unicredit Group in Milan.
