HISTORY
The Tamil Brethren Church in Abu Dhabi was established in the first week of January 2012 as an initiative of the Brethren Christian Assembly Abu Dhabi. Recognizing the need for a Tamil-speaking fellowship and others who are interested to participate, the church was founded to provide spiritual nourishment and support to the Tamil community, particularly labor camp workers facing hardships and families. What started as a small initiative has now grown into a thriving congregation where lives are touched, faith is strengthened, and the love of Christ is shared. Through prayer, worship, and dedicated outreach, the church continues to be a source of hope and transformation for many souls.
OBJECTIVES
1. To worship God in spirit and truth
2. To bring people to Jesus Christ
3. To have fellowship with Christ and with one another
4. To develop them to Christ-like maturity
5. To equip them to reach out to the world.
VISION
“To be a beacon of Christ’s love, bringing transformation and hope to the Tamil-speaking community in Abu Dhabi by sharing the gospel, fostering faith, and creating a family of believers rooted in God’s Word.”
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
MISSION
“Our mission is to spread the love of Jesus Christ, reaching out to those in need—especially labor camp workers, families, others who are interested to participate —through prayer, spiritual guidance, and community support. We strive to strengthen faith through worship, Bible study, and fellowship while embodying God’s compassion in our daily lives.
