Tamica’s Tutoring is a supportive and structured learning environment designed to help learners grow academically, emotionally, and confidently. Founded by Tamica Mopp, the centre is built on patience, strong values and a deep commitment to personalised education.

We believe that every child deserves a space where learning feels safe, manageable, and empowering, a place where they are truly seen and supported.

About the founder:

Tamica Mopp is an entrepreneur with a heart for learners who often fall through the cracks. Her passion for tutoring began at age 19 in 2015, she started tutoring simply for extra cash and in 2020 it developed into a full business with tutors. It was during the time of tutoring on her own when she realised how many children were silently struggling, not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked the right guidance, confidence or individual attention. This understanding sparked her desire to create an environment where learners receive the encouragement, structure and emotional support they need to succeed. Over the years, Tamica has worked with learners across various grades, subjects and learning abilities. She has witnessed the transformative power of personalised teaching especially when paired with compassion, clarity and the right pace. She is currently completing her teaching degree via UNISA.
