I'm Tam Green, a Knysna girl with a Journalism degree that didn’t quite do it for me.
I’ve been telling stories long before I could hold a pen. Some of my earliest memories are of narrating them to my mom, who’d transcribe them in her (mostly illegible) cursive, while I illustrated and bound the pages myself.
I went on to study Journalism and English at Rhodes University, though I found my dorm mate’s Psychology notes just as fascinating. You could say my love of writing, combined with a curiosity about how people think, led me to a career in marketing. (Dad, unsurprisingly, vetoed my storm chasing dreams.)
Most recently, I served as Head of Digital Copy at Accenture Song (formerly King James Group). Now, after more than a decade collaborating with some of the brightest creative minds, I’m excited to be writing the next chapter as a freelance creative.
