20th Feb 2019 was the graduation ceremony for 88 teachers from 20 primary schools and 24 secondary schools from 4 PPDs in the interior districts of Sabah.

It was a 2 years journey of mutual learning for all parties, the school community, our delivery partner chumbaka and us from the Hap Seng Group.

2 years on, we leave them with 4 makers hub courtesy of MDEC Sumitra Nair , school based clubs for innovation/makers/STEM (whatever names the individual schools decide to call it) , teachers and students that humble us with their energy, passion and dreams. A community of digital learners journeying together in the interior of Sabah.

A special shout out to the student mentors of TIC Tenom Innovation Center who presented me with a 3d printed lithography lightbox of their school.

It is awesome how the rural teachers and students, given the opportunity, just soak up technology like ducks to water.
