Christine Tamblyn's

Interactive CD-ROM Artworks

A mini website that captures the process behind digitally preserving two CD-ROM projects by Christine Tamblyn, a feminist media artist and critic active in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area from the 1970s through 1990s, and known for her performance pieces and multimedia works utilizing CD-ROMs and video. This site is an attempt to showcase material that would not otherwise be available.

Tamblyn's first interactive CD-ROM (1993) addressing the often problematic relationship of women to technological media.

Interactive CD-ROM (1995) inspired by the lives of ten famous women.
