STATEMENT

Creating a work of art is not necessarily about being understood. Creating and presenting a work of art is an experimental process, and this work is intended to stimulate the viewer's senses by combining elements such as speech bubbles with no writing, figures with blank expressions that make it difficult to read their emotions, and backgrounds with nothing drawn on them.

While pursuing a purely artistic appeal, the work attempts to break away from the possibilities of narration and storytelling, and is born out of a desire to break away from conventional forms of expression and pursue a new form of expression that is different from those of the past. It is my hope that through my work, viewers will be inspired to confront themselves and discover the appeal of art.
