This Privacy Policy describes how TA Manager (the "App") handles user information. We prioritize your privacy and ensure that sensitive data remains under your control.
Local Data (Stored only on your device)

Sensitive Details: Information such as your PF Number, Basic Pay, Designation, Railway Zone, and HQ Station is stored locally on your device using 256-bit AES encryption.

Purpose: This data is used solely to generate your official TA Journal PDF. We do not have access to this information on our servers.
Cloud Data (Shared only if Cloud Sync is enabled)

Journey Details: If you enable "Colleague Data Share", the app syncs your Group Display Name, Trip Dates, Stations, and Duty Times with your chosen private group.

Privacy Guarantee: Your PF Number and Basic Pay are NEVER shared or uploaded to the cloud.
Device Information
•
Hashed Device ID: For security and group management (blocking unauthorized users), a cryptographic hash of your device identifier is stored. This cannot be used to identify your physical device or person.
We use third-party services to improve app stability and performance:

Firebase Crashlytics: Helps us identify and fix app crashes. It collects anonymized crash logs and device state at the time of the error.
•
Firebase Analytics: Helps us understand which features are most used to prioritize future development.
•
Privacy: No personally identifiable information (PII) like names or PF numbers is sent to these services.

We use Firebase Remote Config to provide a safe experience. This allows us to:

Inform users about maintenance periods.

Notify users about mandatory security updates.
Internet: Required for syncing journey data with your colleagues and for Firebase services.

Network State: Used to detect if you are offline to save battery and data.
•
No Sensitive Permissions: This app does NOT require access to your Microphone, Camera, Contacts, or GPS Location.

We use Firebase Authentication (Anonymous) to provide a unique identity without requiring your email or phone number.
•
Firebase App Check (Play Integrity) ensures that only our official app can access the database, protecting user data from unauthorized access.
•
You can stop sharing data at any time by turning off "Cloud Sync" in the Profile settings.
•
Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your cloud data and identity through the "Delete Account" option in the Profile screen. This action is irreversible and wipes all your shared trips and group memberships.
