What is Cutting Plotter?
Cutting plotters are cutting devices which can be used to cut graphics, lettering and a variety of shapes from a variety of materials.
Papers and cutting stickers can be cut according to Adobe Illustrator "path" data.
What is "Path data" in Illustrator?
"Path" is the lines you draw on Illustrator using the Pen, Pencil, or Curvature tools.
Cutting machine recognizes Illustrator's "Path" as cutting lines.

How to prepare data for cutting plotter
Reservations are required for equipment use.
If you are a first-time user, please submit your data when you make a reservation.
Please refer to the following for how to create data.

Cutting area size
Paper: A3( 297mm × 420mm )
Cutting Sheet: 350mm × 2000mm
Make the data in actual size.
Window > Properties
To merge multiple objects, use Pathfinder effects.
Window > Pathfinder > Add
Texts must be outlined.
Text > Create Outline
Be careful with Lines.
Use Outline Stroke if you want to cut with the outer surface.
Object > Path > Outline Stroke
Check your Path with Outline mode.
View > Outline

Cutting printed papers
If you want to cut printed papers, register marks need to be added.
Please submit your data to CMTEL before printing.

Creat with portrait format.
Leave the four corners white with no objects.
Color need to be added on the edge of the crop line to avoid cutting problem.
Separate layers for "cutting paths" and "images for printing".
