I am a Gibbs Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Yale University. My faculty mentor is Yair Minsky. Before that, I was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at Rice University, advised by Alan Reid. I was an undergrad at the University of Texas at Austin.

My research interests are in low-dimensional geometry and topology. I think about the profinite completions of groups that arise in low-dimensional geometry and topology. I'm currently thinking about profinite completions of discrete subgroups of Lie groups with connections to geometric group theory, number theory, and algebraic geometry.  

I'm currently co-organizing the Yale Geometry & Topology seminar with Tianqi Wang. I'm also a co-organizer for GATSBY
