Talmon Owens – Guitar, Songwriting & Recording Instructor

I’m a music educator and recording artist offering private lessons in guitar, songwriting, recording and sound engineering. I have three years of experience teaching music at a private K–12 school, where I worked with students of all ages, created music curriculum, directed student ensembles, and taught an Intro to recording and sound engineering class.

Before teaching in the classroom, I taught private guitar lessons at the Pacific Grove Art Center. I also hold certificates in Music Theory and Vocal Recording Technology from Berklee Online.

As a recording artist, I write and produce music both as a solo artist and as part of Magenta Spreen, a folk duo with my wife Kristen. I enjoy helping students build strong fundamentals while also encouraging creativity through songwriting and recording their own music.
