We have only one course offered at this moment. It's called Tally Essential Comprehensive.

This is the most comprehensive certification course on computerized accounting done with Tally Prime available in the world.

It was designed to enable people who have some inclination of Accounting and Financial Career grow from just being a beginners to a fully capable professionals.

Overall, it has 3 levels, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. We have combined all three levels in one go and that is why it's known as comprehensive.

Why we teach Tally Essential Comprehensive instead of the normal Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.

Back in 2019 when we were just starting the Tally Academy, Imphal, we offered 4 courses

Among the four there is this beginner course called 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐂𝐄. We offered that course at the price of Rs. 3000/- only.

We got many students for that course attracted by the low cost of the course.

We taught the best of its content but somehow we felt we were NOT satisfied with the outcome.

The nature of the course was such that the students couldn’t get enough practice. It was like dumping the usage and functionalities to the students in a very short period of time. The students got overwhelmed and became incapacitated to learnings fully.

Then to upgrade into higher courses means more complexities.

What use is learning if one couldn’t actually translate it into skills or use it for earning?

A waste of time and money for the students as well as for the teachers that teaches them. Such are the disadvantages of the BASIC Course and telling them to upskill when they are not even conversant with the tools.

We thought we were not doing justice to this HIGH-INCOME SKILL by providing a mediocre module. We also saw that such is the case with all the institutions out here in Manipur.

We seek the QUALITY of education rather than quantity.

So we experimented with other advanced courses.

After some trial and error, it came to our REALISATION that students need at least 3 months of intensive training to get really conversant with TallyPrime. They have more time to practice but they could also learn more elaborately.

It’s a WIN-WIN situation for all. The students have had enough practice, now that they are more confident and enough to handle any accountancy problems.

And for the companies that recruit them, it’s like some savior has come into their organization to solve their mounting everyday problem.

It’s been a satisfying result for us too.

So, we started offering only one but comprehensive course called "𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞"

In this comprehensive course as we said earlier, it has three levels. We will explain briefly what each of these level contains.

LEVEL 1

Level 1 is the beginners course.

It has fundamentals of accounting. What you might have studied on accountancy in the B.COM first year classes are taught here.

Our expert faculty will shorten your learning cycle of accountancy that takes years into a few weeks.

Then you will be introduce to Tally Prime. Here you will be taught starting from how to create a company, how to maintain the chart of accounts, how to record every transaction and how to generate reports for quick business decisions. etc.

It also teaches about Banking, Data Security and Company Data Management and, the most important part generating financial statements and MIS reports.

LEVEL 2

Level 2 goes more deeper into the Storage and Classification of Inventory, Accounts Receivable and Payable management Purchase Order and Sales Order Cycle Management, Cost Centers, Budgets and Scenarios.

Storage and classification of inventory helps you to understand the meaning and types of inventories. It has creation of inventory masters such as Stock Groups, Stock Category, Warehouse and Batches.

Then the fundamentals and concepts of Outstanding Management such as Bill-wise references, Bill Settlement and Credit Limit features are discussed.

The complete cycles of Purchase order and Sales order like placing an Order, Handling Rejections, Raising an Invoice against an order and completing it with receipts and payments are discussed with illustrations and examples.

An interesting chapter on cost center covers how to allocate expenses and incomes to different cost unit of the organization, automation of allocation of cost center by creating cost center classes in Tally and updating the reports instantly, once after recording the transactions.

Finally, simulation method like Budgets & Scenario Management in Tally are taught.

LEVEL 3

Level 3 is an advanced course in which we teach taxation and compliance.

It covers Goods and Services Tax and enables recording intrastate and interstate transactions, purchase and sales, return transaction with GST supplies etc.

We go deeper into cases like purchase from composition dealer, exports and supply of exempted goods along with the procedure of adjusting input credit against available liability, making tax payment to the government, generating GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B in Tally.

We also include the composition dealer basic transactions and generating returns.

This level also covers TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) by enabling TDS at different levels and recording basic TDS transactions, TDS payment, generating TDS challan and generating TDS reports.

It also has management of business data with Export and Import tools, and Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), Splitting of Company, and Grouping of Companies.

Last but not the least, we teach how to smoothly move to the next financial years.

We attempt to cover all the above levels in 100 days time. We give enough time to practice on the multiuser license version of TallyPrime.

You will be given student portal in which you can get e-books, video lessons, mock assessment, job portal and final assessment.

Students who have completed the course have to appear for a final assessment. On clearing the assessment you will be given a certificate directly from the Tally Education Pvt. Ltd. The certificate is digitally verifiable.

Almost all of the students that have passed out from our academy have already been placed in jobs of different industries.
