Luna is a boarder used in our lesson program.  Due to her age, Luna is currently only doing trail rides and pony rides.  With many years of lessons under her belt, we would say this is a much deserved step into retirement!  She loves getting to be around kids and getting so much love and attention.

Casper is on lease from his owner, Monica Howard.   Casper is a true gentle giant, he loves attention and aims to please.  Casper is a big guy with big movement so he's best suited for steady, advanced riders looking to build their strength.  

Gunny is Heidi Golden's horse.  He has been trained in reining and ranch work, and is now continuing his education as a lesson horse.  Gunny is an amazing horse to learn flatwork on, as he does not jump, and we love watching him capture hearts with his big personality.  

Chessie joined our team in late 2022 and jumped right into things.  She has been a huge asset to our lesson program, being calm enough to show beginners the ropes while still being challenging enough to help our advanced riders grow their talents.  

Artie joined Tall Tales in late 2022, and after a brief adjustment period joined our lessons.  Artie is used for all levels of lessons, from lead line to advanced.  He's proven himself to be safe and energetic at the same time, the perfect mixture for our students.  

Rajah is Rachel Chichester's horse, who is coming to us after 3 years in the hunter world.  Rajah is still figuring out her new job as a lesson horse, so she's currently only being used in advanced lessons.  We're sure Rajah will settle in soon and be available for more lessons.  

Norman is a lesson horse alumni, coming to join our program on lease with tons of experience under his belt.  He's almost as cute as he is talented, and we're so excited to have him with us!  Norman is currently being used in all levels of lessons, helping our students continue their education.
