Welcome to Talking Helps Psychotherapy
Hello and welcome! Congratulations on taking the first step toward your healing journey — let me help you follow through.
I’m LaToya R. Walker, MSW, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist and owner of Talking Helps.
My goal is to create an authentic, safe, and comfortable environment where you feel free to be yourself as we explore what brought you here. I provide counseling for children (ages 8+), teens, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural, educational, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Together, we will develop personalized strategies and practical tools to help you gain insight, manage challenges, and move toward the life you envision. Each session is tailored to your individual needs and goals. My mission is to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and grow into the best version of yourself.
✨ It’s not just about what we go through — it’s also about what we get through. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
"I am a true believer that talking helps".
Breonna Wright, RCSWI
Florida Based Therapist
Ages 4+
As a therapist, my passion is helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and confidence. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. My approach blends empathy with practical strategies, focusing on building self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships. I work from a strengths-based perspective, meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you uncover your own capacity for growth and healing. Whether you’re facing stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, or life transitions, my goal is to help.
I help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals. My specialty is working with teens, young adults, and parents to build stronger communication, emotional resilience, and self-confidence.
