Bitcoin Ownership Ledger (BOL) – Whitepaper
Version 1.0 ( Jan - 8 - 2026 )
Authoritative Economic & Ownership Framework
1. Introduction
Bitcoin Ownership Ledger (BOL) is a transparent, asset-backed ownership system designed to provide proportional ownership exposure to a real Bitcoin treasury. BOL is not a token, not a trading platform, and not a yield-generating product. It is a long-term ownership registry that aligns incentives around scarcity, transparency, and non-dilutive growth.
This whitepaper defines the economic, issuance, ownership, and governance principles of BOL. It is the authoritative reference for how the system operates.
2. Core Philosophy
BOL is built on four non-negotiable principles:
Real Asset Backing – All value is derived from actual Bitcoin held in treasury.
Fixed Ownership Supply – Ownership dilution must stop permanently.
Transparency Over Promises – NAV reflects value; no returns are promised.
Long-Term Survivability – The system must function even if growth slows or stops.
BOL reflects value; it does not manufacture value.
3. What Is BOL?
BOL is a private company that:
Holds Bitcoin as a treasury asset
Issues equity shares representing proportional ownership
Maintains a transparent Net Asset Value (NAV)
Records ownership changes in an internal ledger
BOL does not:
Issue crypto tokens
Guarantee returns
Operate a public exchange
Provide liquidity on demand
Promise buybacks or dividends
4. Treasury & NAV Mechanics
4.1 Treasury
The treasury consists solely of Bitcoin held by the company. All Bitcoin holdings are treated as company assets and are transparently reflected in treasury reporting.
4.2 Net Asset Value (NAV)
NAV is calculated as:
NAV = Total Treasury Value ÷ Total Shares Issued
NAV is an accounting metric for transparency. It does not represent a guaranteed exit price or redemption value.
5. Fixed Maximum Share Supply
BOL has a hard cap of 1,000,000 (one million) total shares.
The total supply will never increase
Shares are never rebased, burned, or reduced arbitrarily
Each share represents 0.0001% ownership of the company
Once the full supply is issued, ownership dilution permanently ends.
6. Share Issuance Model (Before Cap)
Before all shares are issued:
Capital commitments are collected
Bitcoin is purchased (often in scheduled batches)
Bitcoin is added to the treasury
Shares are issued strictly at prevailing NAV
Treasury and ledger are updated transparently
Key rules:
No discounted issuance
No premium issuance
No guaranteed price at commitment time
NAV is determined only at execution
7. 1 Million Share Issuance Phases
To enforce scarcity responsibly, BOL uses issuance phases.
Each phase defines the maximum shares that may be issued, not guaranteed access.
