Talkelo is an AI-powered English communication practice app designed to help users improve their speaking, listening, and conversational skills through interactions with AI models.
By accessing or using Talkelo, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the app.
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the app, and information necessary to provide and improve our services.

Talkelo may request access to your microphone so that you can record your voice and practice speaking with AI.
Voice recordings may be processed to understand your spoken input and generate relevant AI responses. If you do not grant microphone permission, you may still use text-based features, but voice-based features may not be available.
Talkelo may request access to your photo library if you choose to upload a profile photo.
We only access the image you select. We do not access, scan, or collect your full photo library.
To provide a continuous learning experience, we may collect and store information such as:

Practice history
Conversation history
AI interaction records
App feature usage
Subscription or purchase access status

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your full payment card number, banking information, or payment credentials.

Talkelo uses third-party AI model providers to generate conversational responses and support English communication practice.

When you submit a text prompt or voice recording, Talkelo may send the necessary user-submitted content to the AI model provider selected or used within the app. The AI provider processes the submitted content and returns a generated response.
Talkelo’s backend server acts as an intermediary between you and the AI provider. We use this backend processing flow to deliver the requested AI response, manage service performance, and apply safety filtering before returning results to you.
We only share information with AI providers as necessary to provide the requested AI functionality. We do not intentionally share your payment credentials or full account login credentials with AI providers.
Please note that third-party AI providers may process submitted content according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Talkelo is designed for English communication practice and is not intended for generating, sharing, or encouraging harmful, abusive, sexual, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate content.
To support a safer user experience, Talkelo may apply safety filtering to both user-submitted content and AI-generated responses. This may include blocking NSFW, abusive, or inappropriate requests or results.
Talkelo also provides a report button in the AI conversation flow. If you report a message or interaction, we may review the reported content, related conversation context, timestamp, account identifier, and relevant technical information to investigate the issue and improve safety.
Although we use safety measures, AI-generated content may sometimes be inaccurate, unexpected, or incomplete. Users should not rely on AI responses as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.
Talkelo may request certain device permissions only when they are needed for specific features.
We request microphone access so you can record your voice and practice speaking with AI.
You can disable microphone access in your device settings. If disabled, voice recording features may not function.
We request photo library access only when you choose to upload a profile image.
We do not access your entire photo library. We only process the image you select.
If Talkelo offers reminders or service notifications, we may request permission to send push notifications.
You can manage or disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as described in this Privacy Policy and only when necessary to provide, operate, protect, or improve Talkelo.
We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate the app, such as:

Deleting your account may permanently remove your profile, learning progress, conversation history, and access to account-based features.
Talkelo is intended for users aged 16 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
If you are under 18, you should use Talkelo only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
If you believe that a child under 16 has provided personal information to Talkelo, please contact us.
Talkelo may use service providers located in countries other than your country of residence. As a result, your information may be processed, stored, or transferred internationally.
Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate steps to protect personal information during such transfers.
Talkelo may integrate or rely on third-party services, including AI model providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, authentication services, and App Store payment processing.

Talkelo is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control.
You are responsible for the content you submit to Talkelo.
You should not submit sensitive, confidential, illegal, harmful, or inappropriate information, including but not limited to:

Passwords or security credentials
Confidential business information
Content involving children
Content that infringes the rights of others
Sexual, violent, hateful, abusive, or illegal content
Talkelo may block, restrict, remove, or report content that violates our safety standards, terms, or applicable laws.
