Talk Up! - Visual Agenda

The visual agenda is a tool that allows children with verbal communication difficulties to anticipate and understand the activities over time and to know what is expected of them, thereby reducing the anxiety generated by the new and unexpected.

Through the visual agenda, the person is informed of what he is going to do and for how long. This reduces anxiety in the face of uncertainty or the difficulty of predicting what is going to happen. The use of this tool helps to give order to your world and to improve aspects related to your emotional well-being.

Talk Up! It allows to have up to 4 visual agendas available, which can be used according to the planning of the child's activities.

  • Access the Visual Agenda from the main Talk Up! screen.

  • We activate the agenda [✓] and then select the edit icon, which will take us to the pictogram sheets.

  • Select the pictograms in the required time sequence.

  • Once the agenda is completed, press the save icon and then the exit icon to return to the main agenda screen.

  • Activate the corresponding agenda [✓]

  • Click on the pictogram of the current activity, which will be marked with a blue box.

  • To change activities click on the following pictogram

  • To change the agenda, press the select icon [✓] of the new agenda.

  • The old agenda will be hidden but the pictograms and the last activity executed will remain saved until we reactivate it.
