My current work is mostly in social epistemology and legal philosophy. I'm interested in questions about the epistemology of sexual consent. More specifically, I research distortions in legal and social inquiry about sexual violations, and explore what that says about our understanding of sexual consent. My doctoral research is funded by the AHRC London Arts & Humanities Partnership, and I am supervised by Dr Lewis Ross, Dr Liam Kofi Bright and Dr Federico Picinali.
I also have research interests in feminist meta-philosophy, criminal law, philosophy of language and political theory.
I am co-chairing the Philosophy, Law & Politics Graduate Forum, a network of doctoral candidates, early-career researchers, and established academics working in legal, moral, and political philosophy in the UK. Please contact me if you want to get involved in our events!
I am also the editorial assistant of the European Journal of Political Theory.
I completed my MA in Philosophy and MSc in Political Theory at the University of Amsterdam under the supervision of Prof Mari Mikkola and Dr Enzo Rossi. I received my LLB from Fundanção Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo (Brazil), where I'm also a qualified lawyer.
