Introduction
This User Agreement governs your download, access, and use of the mobile application Talimee. By registering for or using Talimee you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use Talimee. The Effective Date of this Agreement is the date you first use the app.
Definitions and Scope
Talimee means the mobile application and any related services, features, updates, and integrations provided by the operator listed in Contact.
User means any person who accesses or uses Talimee.
User Content means any information or material a User provides to Talimee.
Scope covers Talimee use worldwide and this Agreement applies to Users in Pakistan and other jurisdictions to the extent permitted by local mandatory law.
Account Registration and Data Collected
Required Data: Talimee requires a valid phone number or email to create an account and to sign in.
Optional Data: Username and district are optional and may be provided by Users at their discretion.
Data Uses: Phone number is used for authentication, account recovery, and security. Optional username and district are used to personalize the app experience and for in-app features.
Third-Party Services: Talimee uses Google AdMob for advertising and Firebase for authentication and data storage. Data stored in Firebase may be processed in locations outside the User’s country.
User Responsibility: Users must provide accurate phone numbers. Users are responsible for information entered in optional fields and for actions performed from their account.
Privacy Data Security and Processing
Privacy Policy: Talimee’s Privacy Policy describes in detail what data is collected, how it is used, who it is shared with, and User rights. The Privacy Policy is available at [Talimee].
Minimal Collection: Talimee collects only phone number, optional username, and optional district. No additional personal data is collected unless Users choose to provide it.
Legal Bases: For Users in jurisdictions requiring a legal basis for processing personal data Talimee relies on: consent for optional fields, and legitimate interest and contract necessity for phone number authentication.
International Transfers: Data may be transferred and processed in countries outside Pakistan under appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
Data Retention: Account data is retained for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period after account deletion to comply with legal obligations and legitimate business needs. Specific retention durations are in the Privacy Policy.
Security Measures: Talimee uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including secure transmission for authentication and encrypted storage where supported by the platform. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Ad Partners and Analytics: AdMob and any analytics providers may collect device identifiers and usage information as described in their policies. Talimee does not control third-party data practices.
User Rights: Users may access, correct, or request deletion of their optional profile data and may stop using the service to cease processing. Requests should be sent to Contact.
Advertising Payments and Third-Party Services
AdMob: Talimee displays ads served by Google AdMob. Advertising is subject to Google policies. Talimee does not control the content of third-party ads.
No Purchases Required: Talimee’s core features do not require payment. If paid features are offered in the future, payment and refund terms will be presented at purchase and may be subject to store policies.
Service Integration: Talimee integrates with Firebase for authentication and storage. Firebase may collect usage and diagnostic data in accordance with Google’s terms.
Intellectual Property and User Content
App Ownership: Talimee and all related intellectual property are owned by the operator or licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
User Content License: By submitting optional profile information Users grant Talimee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content to operate and improve the app, display the content to other Users when required by app features, and promote Talimee.
User Representations: Users must not provide content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful. Talimee may remove content that violates this Agreement or applicable law.
Warranties Liability and Indemnity
No Warranty: Talimee is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Talimee does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law Talimee’s total aggregate liability arising from or related to this Agreement is limited to the amount paid by the User for the app during the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred US dollars if no payment was made. Talimee is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Indemnity: Users indemnify and hold harmless Talimee, its officers, employees, agents, and partners from claims arising from User’s breach of this Agreement, misuse of the app, or violation of third-party rights.
Termination Changes Notices and Governing Law
Termination: Talimee may suspend or terminate access for violations of this Agreement, abuse, or inactivity. Users may delete their account via in-app settings or by contacting Contact. Surviving provisions include intellectual property, limitations of liability, indemnity, and data retention clauses.
Changes: Talimee may modify this Agreement or policies. Notice of material changes will be provided in-app or by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
Notices: Legal notices to Talimee should be sent to Contact. Notices to Users will be sent in-app or to the registered phone number where possible.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Users may pursue any mandatory consumer protections in their jurisdiction. For disputes not subject to mandatory local rules the competent courts in Pakistan will have jurisdiction. Where Users are located in jurisdictions requiring alternative mechanisms Talimee will follow mandatory local rules.
