A new trucking student program is designed to provide training and education to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in the trucking industry. These programs typically offer a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become professional truck drivers.
1. What are the minimum qualifications to join as a driver?
You must be at least 21 years old.
You must pass a DMV/D.O.T. physical and a pre-employment drug screen.
You must have a good driving record and have been licensed in the United States for a minimum of 18 months out of the last 3 years.
All criminal convictions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are all reviewed by management.
2. What are the advantages of driving in a team environment?
Both drivers can earn a higher income than if they were driving solo.
You can run more miles, gaining confidence and experience.

3. What are the full driver benefits offered ?

4. How do you train new drivers?
The Company is the nation’s largest team carrier and trains thousands of new drivers every year.
After graduating from school, you will attend a 3-4-day Orientation program at one of our terminals.
You will be matched with a Lead Driver (trainer) for on-the-job training.
After training, you will be set up with a co-driver and go on the road for up to 2 weeks, then go home for up to 5 days.
5. What are the options for paying for driver training ?
Company-sponsored training with a 10-month contract.
Prepay option with no contract and a higher starting rate of pay.
Pay using your Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits (for U.S. veterans only).
6. What documents are required to attend a Contract School?
Valid United States Driver’s License.
Valid Social Security Card (original and in good condition, copies not accepted).
Acceptable immigration documentation if you are not a US citizen.
Any employment documentation required to complete the driver application.
Voided Check for bank transfer (if applicable).
Original or certified copy of Birth Certificate or Passport.
7. How should I prepare financially for attending a Contract School?
Meals (breakfast and lunch provided free of charge on weekdays).
Miscellaneous personal purchases (toiletries, laundry, etc.).
All licensing fees (permit and CDL) are paid in full.
8. How and when do drivers get paid?
Drivers are paid on Fridays through the COMDATA system.
Earnings are deposited directly into your COMDATA account, which allows 24/7 access to payroll funds.
Statements of earnings can be found on the pay website, and you can also check your earnings via a toll-free number or online.
