Taleem AI is an educational app that helps students access class notes, view PDFs, and ask study questions with the help of AI. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Taleem AI is supported in part by advertising, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads.
Account Information: Name and email if you choose to sign in.
Usage Information: Interactions within the app such as chapters viewed, features used, taps, and basic event logs.
Content Information: Questions you submit to the AI and related context text; basic metadata for saved notes.
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostics.
Local Files: PDFs you download within the app are stored on your device only unless you choose to back them up elsewhere.
Ad Information: Limited information from advertising partners, such as ad impressions, clicks, non-personal identifiers (for example advertising ID, IP address, coarse location), and basic information about how you interact with ads. This is used to deliver, measure, and improve ads and to prevent fraud or misuse.
We use the information described above to:
Provide core features (notes browsing, PDF viewing, AI answers).
Personalize content and improve answer quality and relevance.
Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
Show ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads) to help keep core features of the app free for students.
Manage rewarded ads and in-app rewards, such as extra AI question credits when you choose to watch a rewarded ad after reaching a free question limit.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
AI Processing and Third-Party Services
Your questions may be processed by AI services solely to generate answers. We may also use analytics and crash reporting to understand app performance and improve quality. These providers process data under their own privacy terms and are required to protect your information and use it only for the intended purpose.
Advertising and Monetization
Taleem AI uses banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads to support the app and keep core study features free.
Ads may be provided by third-party ad networks (for example, Google AdMob or similar services).
These partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, coarse location, and basic usage information to deliver and measure ads, limit how often the same ad is shown, and detect fraud.
Where supported by your device or operating system, you can manage certain ad and tracking preferences (such as resetting your advertising ID or limiting ad tracking).
Rewarded Ads and Question Limits
To manage costs and maintain a free tier, the number of AI questions you can ask within a period may be limited.
When you reach your free question limit, the app may offer you an option to watch a rewarded ad.
If you choose to watch the rewarded ad completely, you may receive an in-app reward (such as extra AI question credits) so that you can continue asking questions.
The exact free question limit and the number of additional questions granted as a reward may change over time and will be communicated in the app.
Rewards from ads apply only inside the app and have no cash value.
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that help us deliver the app (for example, hosting, analytics, AI processing, advertising networks, notifications). These providers must keep your data confidential and act only on our instructions.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We keep personal data only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described in the “Your Rights and Choices” and “Contact” sections.
Access and Update: If account features are available, you can view or update basic account details in the app.
Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and related personal data by emailing us (see Contact). We will verify your request and delete associated personal data unless retention is required by law.
Controls: Where supported by your device or operating system, you can limit analytics, reset identifiers, or change ad and privacy settings (for example, advertising ID and limit ad tracking).
Taleem AI is designed for students with parental or school guidance where applicable. If you believe a child provided personal data without proper consent, contact us and we will remove it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be processed on servers outside your country. We take steps to ensure appropriate protection consistent with this Policy and applicable laws.
Permissions and Background Behavior
If the app requests permissions (for example, storage access to read or save PDFs), they are used only to provide the requested feature. The app does not collect personal data in the background unless clearly disclosed and consented to.
Account Creation and Deletion (If Applicable)
If you create an account, you can request deletion by emailing us from your registered email address with the subject “Account Deletion Request – Taleem AI.” We will confirm receipt and process the deletion of your account and related personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Our public policy webpage may use standard web logs and similar technologies for security, analytics, and performance. These do not identify you by name unless you submit information via a form.
Data Safety Disclosure (Google Play)
If data is processed only on your device and not transmitted to us or our providers, it will not be marked as “collected” in our Google Play Data Safety form.
If data is transmitted or processed by service providers (for example, analytics, crash reports, AI answer generation, or advertising networks for banner/interstitial/rewarded ads), we disclose that in the Data Safety section and in this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may show an in-app notice. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
