Research on closed-loop recyclable electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding composite materials by Gayoung and Juho has been published in Advanced Composites and Hybrid Materials. By utilizing lipoic acidβa core material in our groupβs researchβto create positively charged particles, γ γ· developed an innovative system that achieves excellent EMI shielding performance with minimal MXene content while allowing for the full recovery of both monomers and conductive fillers. Our third study on quantum dot patterning, conducted in collaboration with Prof. Nuri Oh's group (Hanyang Univ.), has been published in Advanced Materials. In this work, we utilized lipoic acid, a key material in our research, as a ligand for quantum dots, enabling not only photopatterning but also the fabrication of luminescent composite materials with high flexibility. We sincerely appreciate the dedicated efforts of Nuri Oh's research team, as well as our co-first author and co-authors, Jiyoon Shin and Juho Lee.

Research on chemically recyclable shock wave absorption materials by Juho and Dongju has been published in Materials Horizons. This paper is the first to reveal the importance of reversible exchange reaction rates in shock wave absorption. We extend our gratitude to Prof. Jaejun Lee and Kyungmin Park from Pusan National University for their assistance with shock wave measurements. We look forward to continuing this excellent research.

Juho's first paper has been published in Advanced Functional Materials. The research focuses on a versatile polymers that can be recovered as monomers while exhibiting damage sensing, self-healing, and shape memory characteristics. Hyemi's research on phenacyl ester-based photodegradable polymers has been selected as the cover paper for Macromolecules. This is a significant achievement in the historic polymer journal. Dr. Sangho Lee and Juhwan's research on self-healing polymer electrolytes has been published in ACS Applied Polymer Materials. We developed an ion-conductive polymer with excellent self-healing properties by applying Diels-Alder chemistry, previously used by Subin, to ionomers. Great job to both of you!

Our collaborative research on perovskite quantum dot patterning with Prof. Nuri Oh's group (Hanyang Univ.) has been published in Applied Surface Science. We devised a simple patterning system by applying polymerization methods to ligands used for quantum dot dispersion. We thank Seungki Shin for his dedicated research efforts.

A paper by Young Min Cho, a master's student who collaborated with me in 2011, has been published in Composites Part A. The paper examines how conductivity characteristics change depending on the self-assembly order of CNT and gold particles. We're very pleased to see the outstanding outcome of Young Min's efforts.

Our collaborative research with Sungmin Ji from Dr. Min Park and Dr. Jonghyeok Park's team has been published in Composites Part B: Engineering. We dramatically increased pot life by creating core/shell structured curing agents without using solvents.
