In 2021, Dawn Nyree Sanchez embarked on her journey at Plymouth State University. With the support of numerous mentors and professors, she has successfully navigated challenges that once seemed insurmountable. Dawn served as the former Vice President of Lambda Pi Eta, a national honor society for communication majors, and holds a position on the Board of Directors for Health First Family Care in Franklin, NH.
She completed an internship at Lakes 101.5 FM in Belmont, NH, and contributed to the 2022 Children's Christmas Auction in New Hampshire. In the summer of 2023, Dawn was recognized by the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters and had the honor of presenting the 2023 NAB Awards in October.
Dawn graduated from Plymouth State University on August 9, 2024, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media, earning Magna Cum Laude honors. She will also receive her Master’s in Organizational Leadership with honors on May 9, 2025.
In addition to her academic achievements, Dawn has integrated public speaking into her career. After marrying and traveling abroad with her husband during his military service, she began motivational speaking with the United States Marine Corps. She authored two books, "Call to Duty" and "Now I Know I Am Beautiful," which have led to numerous speaking engagements at military bases worldwide. Her travels to countries like Japan and Thailand have opened up new opportunities for her as a speaker.
