He would be very nice to be able to have your photos sorted by date taken and not by date added to dropbox. The reason for this is because I want to use dropbox for my photo back up but having all the dates show up as the date I added them is not really the right way for them to be displayed

Except that I know exactly what I want, which is to have my photos sorted in the order they were taken, not in the order they have been modified which, to me, is utterly moronic.

However, it's probably more accurate to say that this is about file naming.

The name on each of my photos is the date & time taken, which is how I like it. The *actual* name of each of my photos is probably "IMG followed by a number" & if they came into my Camera Uploads like that, I'd have to go through & name every single one using the metadata. Now, Dropbox used to give the files the date & time they were taken, which made my life very easy. Now, it has taken to naming the files by the modification date & time. This gets very awkward when I've sat & maybe cropped a few files at a later date to when they were taken. They all arrive in the wrong order & I have to go through & rename the adjusted ones.

The solution in the short term is very simple. I don't do any editing work in the phone any more. I wait for them to sync & do any work once they're in Dropbox with the correct name.

The reason for me making this thread is to query the idea of changing it to give them the name of the modification date which is a mindblowingly dumb thing to do.

If you took 100 photos on a country walk one day, why would you want ten of them appearing in the middle of a family gathering the following weekend, just because that's when you sat & cropped them during an idle moment? It makes no sense to have changed it.

If you are getting the error that the store name has already been taken, then it would mean that someone else has previously claimed the store name and would require that you create the store without spaces. Shopify does allow for spaces to be entered; however, the store name would appear with dashed in between each word (rock-candie-designs). Once a name is claimed, it can not be freed up for another merchant even if the store is no longer active. The store name you enter is what will create your free ".myshopify.com" URL which is used for login credentials once you add your purchased domain to your store. While the store name with spaces may be taken, in the end, what matters more is that you own the domain you wish to use for your business to ensure your customers are redirected to the correct site.

I've done something and don't know what it is! After the shot is taken, the screen has a small image of what was taken and a whole lot of data down the right hand side and along the bottom. But I don't want that. What have I done?

Thanks for the help. I've now sorted it. The problem was not with playback, it was what came on the screen after a shot was taken. I now find that in Menu there is a Review section and this was set to On, which means the camera settings were shown automatically after the shot, which I didn't want. I had lent the camera and somehow this option had got set!

I do have a display button but all that affects is the display before the picture is taken. What is happening at the moment is that the display changes after the shot to a blank, and then a third of the screen showing the current view with data to the right and underneath.. Resetting the display has no effect on this 'problem'.

I am working on selecting sample value in terms of the lowest value of data whereas my lowest value of data in a single class is 1100. Unfortunately, there is an error. that is

ValueError: a must be greater than 0 unless no samples are taken

However in my code df_data.shape is not empty it shows a full dataset with two classes that are (2245,2)

I am using New Quizzes and have taken a quiz that includes 2 essay questions. During setting up the quiz, I must have assigned the wrong point value for the questions, and now I want to change it. The students have already taken the quiz with the wrong point value.

For people coming to this page from internet searches (as I did): as of October 2023 (not sure what version of Canvas), in New Quizzes it is possible to adjust point values for questions (or to assign zero points to a question that was mistakenly posed) after students have already taken a quiz. Just follow the instructions for Regrading a New Quiz. However, that page notes that "Regrading is not available for Essay or File Upload questions," so it seems the OP is still out of luck. Note that although you initially adjust the score on a single student's quiz in Speedgrader (and not in the Build section of the New Quiz), the Regrade function can update the point value for all students.

I needed to exclude some invalid questions from a New Quiz students had already taken. In order to do that, you can assign zero points to the bad question(s) in Speedgrader and Regrade, choosing the option to give students full credit for the question regardless of their answer.
