Now I am trying to create and develop my own project for the same development board from scratch, but when I create a new project, I am missing a lot of links, configuration files and include options that are presented in the example projects. Also, when I try to build the project, CCS gives me an error related to the .cmd file.

Recently my sister has gotten into electronic music production as a hobby, and I decided to dust off my old Launchpad S and set her up with some projects to have fun learning some classics like Weapon and Tetris on the side. I also never really used the Launchpad for playing songs, mostly for triggering samples and beats during sets on some parties I played.

So I hopped onto google to search this old website I knew, that hosted numerous files, sample packs and projects from the creators themselves. I remember reading on the about section of the website that it was run by 2 French enthusiasts and fans of the controller, and I remember that M4Sonic around that time has recreated Weapon just so he can upload it to this site. It was also probably one of the more popular if not THE most popular (not sure, SoNevable was active there too) upload on the site. And you could comment on the projects and like/dislike them.

Total beginner here. Just bought Launchpad Mini Mk3, found project files on this site -eka-perdana-3.jimdosite.com/, specifically "Alan Walker and Au/Ra - Somebody Like U", then tried to load the files up in Ableton Live 11 Trial. Then I got totally lost.

I'm trying to find that 8x8 grid within Ableton Live and play the song in session mode (like what those youtube videos do), but after loading the above project, all i'm seeing is the "Sample" and "Tutorial" lines while in the horizontal mode. If I click the vertical mode, there's only two columns, which is the "Sample" and "Tutorial" again.

With a Git/GitHub background and knowing very little about Bazaar VCS, I would like to occasionally report a bug to projects hosted on Launchpad, and even send a patch. I'd like to do it in a "proper" way so that it's ready for merging or improvement while not getting in way.

Not all projects found on Launchpad are actually hosted and developed there - some are mirrors of code hosted elsewhere (GitHub/Gitorious/etc), others come from Debian. These original sources are known as "upstream" projects, and it is usually best to submit patches at the source and let the changes arrive "downstream" in Ubuntu (usually in the next release).

It should be clearly indicated on the project page whether it is hosted elsewhere or on Launchpad. If not, just ask the project maintainers how they wish to receive changes. Some upstream projects prefer simple patch files, others prefer submissions/pushes via their respective hosts.

This is pretty much the typical modern workflow, that you may compare to GitHub. Launchpad has been around a bit longer though, so this workflow evolved after the fact, rather than being built into the system from the beginning, so some older projects may rely on other methods of accepting patches. Most all newer projects rely on this workflow though, where on GitHub the "pull requests" have always been there, and people just default to using it because there was never a means to do something different on GitHub.

Most projects are based around Boulder, CO, however, we strive to be flexible in work location. Some projects can be hybrid or 100% remote. If working outside of your home, a working space will be provided to you. Professional development activities take place in Boulder, CO, typically at the University of Colorado Boulder. Most of these activities can also be accessed online if working remotely.

Start the countdown to service! Welcome to the Launchpad, an interactive tool built to connect you with ready-to-go planning resources that help you serve the causes you care about. Get started by answering a few simple questions below. Your next project is just a few clicks away!

Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) is an intervention that combines affordable housing assistance with voluntary support services to address the needs of those who have experienced homelessness. The PLACE has deployed permanent supportive housing in a scattered site model for more than a decade utilizing vouchers and leasing dollars in units held by private landlords or partner nonprofits. Supportive services offered through our case managers and collaborative partners build independent living and tenancy skills, create access to healthcare, clear a pathway to education and employment opportunities, and link young adults with groups and projects that increase social and emotional wellness.

I am trying to figure out how to add a GitHub project to my simple, working Launchpad PPA package. The GitHub project that I am try to add is -reloaded/compiz-boxmenu. I couldn't find much help online and I'm hoping that someone can help point me in the right direction on how to accomplish this. Thanks!

This wiki is also very useful. Once you have your package debianized, you should compile it using the source option (I usually do it using dpkg-buildpackage -S. Pass your key using -k also. The same one you uploaded to your launchpad account.

LAunchPad students are grouped into small teams for added support and individual attention. Each team is led by a learning facilitator who guides participants through the program and serves as a project lead as students prepare their Futurathon final project. Meet the Cal State LA College of ECST students who are proud to serve as LAunchPad learning facilitators
