With the development and spread of ICT and IoT, all kinds of information are now connected via the internet, and a super-smart society "Society 5.0" is expected to be realized, where cyberspace and physical space are highly integrated. As a future system envisioned by Society 5.0, Takemura Lab aims to realize a human-centric intelligent system, i.e., a system that automatically provides detailed services and support according to individual needs. The three core technologies of "behavior sensing," "user state recognition," and "adaptive feedback" are important for such future support systems. Takemura Lab conducts a wide range of research on these technologies, from elemental research to applied research.
