History

Our Story

We started this nonprofit to give back to our community. All coming from immigrant families, our parents didn't have any experience of high school in the U.S. Over time, we realized we collected more questions than answers in our first year of high school. Questions like "How do I navigate all my extracurricular activities?" "What can I do for the community?" "How do I pay for tests?" And most daunting, "Am I making the right decisions?". Eventually, we resorted to asking friends, peers, and teachers for advice. We wanted to create a platform where students can share their experiences and teach others how to navigate through their questions. We were gifted with the treasure of education but we recognize the hardships that children worldwide, as well as in our community, encounter on a daily basis. These difficulties often make it tempting to give up on education and a better future. However, we firmly believe that circumstances do not define a person-it's about how we persevere and support each other. We want to ensure that students have somewhere to turn to when they feel lost and want to provide resources for students to work toward their goals whether that be in the realm of STEM, arts, or humanities. 

 Life is akin to a formidable mountain, full of hardships that seem insurmountable. However, when we join hands and climb together, when we form a community willing to lift each other up and guide each other back to the climbing path after a fall, we can conquer the mountain together. Will you join us in this climb? Will you use your talents and gifts to help others? Let's come together and help these children embark on their journey to the peak of that glistening mountain. Together, we climb, and together, we soar.
