Develop new optical technologies to make something impossible possible

My research focus is on optics and photonics to develop innovative technologies such as an optical microscope that enables us to see something we could not see, an optical sensor that detects something we could not detect, and optical techniques that makes something impossible possible. One of my essential research aims is to contribute to society and industry through nanophotonics and plasmonics, which enables to control light at nanoscale.
