I am an Assistant Professor of Economics and Business at Ottawa University in Surprise, Arizona. My research spans applied microeconomics, development economics, agricultural economics, food policy, and environmental and health economics. I use microdata and causal inference to study markets, public policy, and household behavior. 

I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from Oklahoma State University in 2023.  From 2023-26, I taught at Roanoke College in Virgina and pre-phd Ihave worked at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP) in New Delhi. 

For more than four years, I have taught courses in economics, business, and data analytics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

I also currently serve as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Public Affairs and as an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE.
