Krishna Naresh Dhimmaer is a woman who hails from a traditional fishing community and is skilled in the art of preparing authentic traditional dishes from the catch of her fishing endeavors. She is actively involved in various social activities and holds leadership positions in women's associations and other community organizations. Notably, she has served as the head of women's safety (Mahila Suraksha pramukh) in Gandevi and also held the position of a corporator in Gandevi nagarpalika. Furthermore, she has served as the women's representative for the Akhilbharatiya Dhimmar Samaj. In addition to her community involvement, she runs a small business where she produces dishwashing cleaners and creates value-added products from locally sourced fruits. She maintains regular contact with scientists and fisheries faculty. In collaboration with Dr. Upasana Vyas, who holds a Ph.D. in Fisheries, she is engaged in numerous initiatives aimed at empowering women involved in fishing activities.

Dr Upasana Vyas With a remarkable adventurous 12-year journey and dedication towards the fisheries sector, Dr. Upasana Vyas holding a doctoral degree in Fisheries Resources Management, from Gujarat, India, consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment towards fisheries sector with the skills like teaching, research, fishery management, fish identification, extension programming, surimi fish processing plant, field surveys, post-harvest technology, and fish value addition. During entire span of career, she has an experience in Teaching, Research, Extension and in sea food Industry. Also conducted extensive research on sustainable management of aquatic resources and gained imparting knowledge through teaching. She possesses a wealth of expertise and passion in creating value-added seafood and various fish-related products.
