I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Pusan National University. My research focuses on people’s livelihoods and economic well-being, particularly how income is shaped and changes over time. Using applied microeconometric methods, I examine how public policies and economic changes affect individuals and households, and how these effects vary across them.
Drawing on 20 years of professional experience with the Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance, Statistics Korea, and the United Nations, I also aim to develop effective and evidence-based policy solutions through my research.
