・Molecular Communication        ・Feedback Control          ・Genetic Circuit

・Synthetic Biology           ・Control Engineering

Taishi Kotsuka received the B.S in engineering from Keio University in 2018. By Double Degree Program, he received the M.S. degree in engineering from Keio University (Applied Physics and Physico-informatics) in 2021 and the M.S. degree in science from Technical University Munich (Physics Dept., Biophysics) in 2021, respectively. He received Ph.D. in engineering from Keio University (Applied Physics and Physico-informatics) in 2024. Currently, he is a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, Santa Barbara (Mechanical Engineering). His research interests lie in the integration of control engineering and synthetic biology. Especially he proposes control theory for the analysis and design of molecular communication systems composed of bacteria and molecular robots.
