Welcome to my corner of the digital world! My name is Joy Stanton, and I am a certified teacher in both Illinois and Florida, specializing in Reading and English. With 5 years of invaluable classroom experience and a wealth of tutoring experience, education has always been my driving passion.
Nestled in the charming town of Alton, I share my life with my wonderful husband and our delightful twin 7-year-old daughters. Our blended family includes a total of 6 children, with the other 4 already having embarked on their adult journeys.
Teaching is not just a profession for me; it's a calling. I find immense joy in helping students unlock the power of language and literature, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. While my specialization lies in reading and English tutoring, I also offer support in mathematics and study skills. Additionally, I provide targeted preparation for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT, guiding students toward success and confidence in these crucial assessments.
