I'm Taiga Oku and 1st year PhD student (for 5 years course)  in  The Graduate Institute for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI), Integrative Evolutionary Science(RCIES).

My lab is Gojobori lab and my superviser is Jun Gojobori, Ph. D.

Research Field/Interest

My field of interest includes population genetics, human genetics, genome evolution, and physical anthropology.

I focus on data analysis, particularly researching human evolution from the perspectives of population genetics and genome evolution.

Currently, in addition to analyzing genome data, I am also engaged in simulation and theoretical research.

I am also a member of the Young Geneticists' Society and the Young Evolutionists' Society, and I want to contribute to the interaction among young researchers regardless of the closeness of their fields.
