The UPC program helps students gain stronger foundations for universities and colleges.
Students must confirm their courses for the next semester during the Confirmation Period. Late confirmations may not guarantee a spot in the course for students.

If a student withdraws from a Grade 11 or 12 course within five instructional days following the issue of the midterm report card, the withdrawal is not recorded on the Ontario Student Transcript (OST).
If a student withdraws from a course after five instructional days following the issue of the midterm report card, the withdrawal is recorded on the OST with a “W” in the “Credit” column. The student’s percentage grade at the time of the withdrawal is recorded in the “Percentage Grade” column.
In September 1999, the Ontario Ministry of Education instructed that schools in Ontario implement a policy of full disclosure. This policy states that all Grade 11 and 12 courses attempted by the student will be recorded on the student's transcript.
Grade 9 and 10 courses: Record the student's best attempt only.
Grade 11 and 12 courses: Record all attempts unless the student withdraws on time during the Withdrawal Period. Students MUST get approval from Guidance and the principal for all withdrawal requests. Check the "Home" tab for dates.
A course substitution can occur when a student requires another course in place of a compulsory credit course. A student may make a request or Guidance may make recommendations when reviewing the Study Plan. In both circumstances, students will need to seek approval with Guidance. *As per Ministry requirements, a limit of three(3) substitutions remains in effect.
