I work in Oriental art, watercolor wash, abstract painting, gouache, acrylic, fresco and miniature techniques, combining traditional Eastern aesthetics with experimental techniques to produce personal, illusionistic compositions.
I make custom handmade jewelry including hijab pins, earrings, pendants, necklaces, rings and headpieces. I work with clients to create their vision through thoughtful craft and personal storytelling.
Through Tah'z Atelier, I create handcrafted home decor pieces, trinket trays, vases, and wall art using clay, resin, fabric, jute, wood, decoupage and mixed media, applying the same artistic care I bring to my jewelry and painting.
I practice hand embroidery as a meditative and expressive craft that I first fell in love with in childhood, watching my mother sew and embroider with quiet devotion.
