Vision is an essential part of the human body as 83% of information humans get from the environment is via sight. As statistic shows, Bangladesh has almost 800,000 blind people out of a population of 90 million. Recently there has been a lot of electronic Travel Aid (ETA) designed to help the blind navigate independently. Many institutions perform research worldwide to offer the best ways to help these blind people get their independence. "Smart Stick" as a proposed solution to improve blind and visually impaired people's mobility. This project will enhance the use of assistive technology, promoting greater self-dependency to these people. At present, many blind assistive systems have been implemented, but there is no sound system to navigate a blind and track the movement to rescue the person in case of emergency. Our goal is to assemble a smart cane that enables these people with greater independence to reach their desired destination ensuring all safety. The system would be detecting the nearest obstacles via sensor systems. Additionally, this system provides a cheaper device to be affordable for everyone
