1. How long does CAC registration take?

• Business Name Registration: 5 – 7 working days.

2. What do I need to provide for Business Name registration?

• 1–3 proposed business names

• Business objectives/nature of business

• Business address

• Owner’s details (Name, Address, DOB, Phone, Email)

• Passport photo, valid ID, and signature
  
  

3. What do I need to provide for LTD (Limited Company) registration?

• Minimum of 2 directors/shareholders

• Full details of each person (Name, DOB, Address, Phone, Email, State of Origin & LGA)

• Passport photo, valid ID, and signature (each person)

• Company address

• Shareholding structure (how shares will be divided)

4. How much does registration cost?

• Business Name Registration: ₦30,000

• Limited Liability Company (LTD): ₦80,000

5. Will I get a CAC certificate after registration?

Yes ✅ Once your registration is approved by CAC, you will receive an official Certificate of Registration and other supporting documents (like the Status Report for LTD companies).
We deliver these directly to you once the process is completed.

6. Can foreigners register a company in Nigeria?

Yes ✅ Foreigners can register a company in Nigeria, but Business Name registration is for Nigerians only.
Foreigners must register a Limited Liability Company (LTD), and in some cases may need extra approvals depending on the sector.

7. Do I need a lawyer to register with CAC?

No 🚫 You don’t always need a lawyer.
