The Student Portal connects you to all the information you need to get the most out of life at North Metropolitan TAFE. You can access the Student Portal with your login details to view and update your enrolment details.

If you are having problems logging on to the RUReady online assessment tool, it would be best to contact the person who provided you with the RUReady username and password. Please note, it is not the same as your TAFE NSW login.

As a student you will have access to the full suite of Office 365 tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive and more. You will need to set up your account using your new TAFE login so all the tools are ready to go. Student passwords expire every 90 days - resetting will ensure you continue to have access to all online resources (including the student portal, Blackboard, and Office365).

Your student email address is in the following format: yourstudentID@tafe.wa.edu.au e.g. G012345@tafe.wa.edu.au. This is the email address you will use to login to your free Office 365 account. Your account includes access to an Outlook email account, a OneDrive folder for file storage and access to the Office 365 suite of applications which are available from any computer or mobile device.

1. Select the relevant link below and the Catapult login screen will display.

2. Enter your username, which is your student number.

3. Enter your password. This should be the same password as your current campus computer network account.

4. For first time users the default password is your birth date in the following format e.g. TafeDDMMYYYY

TAFE SA uses a Single Sign On system, which means you can use a single login to sign into computers in the library or elsewhere on campus, and to sign into MyTAFESA to access Learn, Office 365, your enrolment and fees information, and your saved files, whether you're on campus or elsewhere. Your TAFE SA email address (in the format firstname.lastname@student.tafesa.edu.au) also serves as your username for these services.

If you open the library webpage ( ) without going via MyTAFESA first, you can login there by clicking on the Login link in the top right corner, selecting the Login using your TAFE SA account option and entering your ID details there.

The PingID SDK is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution for your customers that prioritizes security and convenience. For MFA, it allows you to send push notifications from your own mobile application, or to send one-time passcodes (OTPs) via email, SMS or voice.
